Dear LCI members,
Please advise
How long is the police complaint active if an FIR is not filed by police.
My wife filed a false police complaint on 04no2011 for 498a and dv.I was called thrice in caw cell where the reconcilation was failed and the case was transfered to police station.Till then no action has been taken.No copy of the complaint was given even.
