If a blank cheque was given and they has been presented for Rs.3 Lakhs and actual amount has to be given is Rs.1,80,000/- lawyer told he will refer to Lok Adalat. In Lok Adalat what they may take decision whether to pay Rs.3 Lakhs + Interest or Rs.1,80,000/- + Interest ? For  Compramising the deal he is not accepting he is talking non sense with our lawyer so he took this decision.

you have to contest the case in court there are many eascape routes to come out.

Lok Adalats can close the matter amicably. Take that opportunity.

Also, if it fails no adverse inference is drawn.

if your defence is strong with documentary evidence, then you must contest.

In Lok Adalat if no compromise is arrived at amicably then you have the right to contest the matter in court. So you can take the chances in Lok Adalat
