My VRS was accepted and I was relived from the bank in December 2011.I was occupying banks quarter. Nothing was informed to me to retain the flat for 2 months. But by way of back dated letter I was permitted two months time to rentain the flat. I was also informed that time My gratuity will also be held up for one CBI court case. At the time of my reliving I was informed that I will not get gratuity till the CBI court case is decided, and that my PF will be released once I vacate the banks flat. How and under what rules the bank can retain my PF and Pension. Is it not a criminal action on their part. How I should proceed in the matter. I have vacated the banks flat after a period of 3 months and 10 days. The bank has appropriated my pf contrbution being rent at commercial rate for 1 month and 10 days without informing me when I was in possession of the flat. There was no such rule to recover rent at commercial rent while I was in service.  My querry is how my PF contribution can be appropriated without any notice to me.  As far as I know, PF contribution of an employee can not be appropriated at any leve. Please guide me in the matter, as to how to proceed.

The bank may be having its own trust and rules e.g. like BOB. Kindly obtain and study.PF can not be attached.
