hello,
can somone please explain me what exactly does it mean by IA petition in a layman terms in case of a civil partitoin suit. it is hard to understnad from legal definition . i could see from the online status of my case that the case is IA pending.
what does it mean exactly and why is it required to be filed with main suit.
also,I am unable to pull IA petition pending status from ecourt onlines. so not sure on the steps it goes through

In ecourts except I.A's Status other proceedings will be updated in ecourts. When your suit is on trail or subsequent proceedings, if both parties are requried any relief from court during pendency of suit, you can get relief by filing I.A. petition before the court for getting relief. Till disposal of the I.A. the suit will be in pending for trail.
