Query on shareholding

Can a PRACTISING Advocate be a Majority shareholder in Family running Pvt. Ltd Company, although he is not doing work of executive nature, but still he holds 69% of shares. Is he violating Advocates act rules,1961 by doing so?

he may not be violating bci rules as long as his duties are not of an executive nature.
