Quashing of accdent case under 304a

Hi,

Is it possible to get accident case quashed- case under 279, 304a. Case is 5 years old and trial not started. Insurance claim already paid by insurer. God knows when will my cousin get discharged. It was victims fault and we have all proofs to prove it. Due to pending case, he is facing hurdles in visas, and jobs. Please help.

Sir, Delay in trail can be a ground of quashing, but other factors will also be taken into consideration for quashing ....like case being false and without any base.... Why don't yo go for the settlement and then apply for quashing.... Regard Kapil Chandna Adv 9899011450

Kapil sir, one of complainant's relatives demanded 3 lakhs in the begining for settling even when he clearly knew it was not my fault.. but how can it be settled as it is non compoundable.
