Quantum Calculation in MACT matters.

Quantum is paid on the basis of 'Sarla Verma' in death cases. What is the effect, if claimant is financially independent of the deceased. Will such independency will result in reduction in the quantum under pecuniary dependency on deceased? Do we have any case law to support this? Ex: husband or son are working and both are independent. If the deceased is working wife or working father, how there ( husband or son) financial independency will effect there mact claim?
