Dear Learned Friends,
I understand there's a restriction on purchasing agricultural land in India, i.e., only farmers and/or those who already own a piece of agricultural land are allowed to purchase agricultural land. Is my understanding right? Are there any ways for non-farmer who does not own a piece of agricultural land in India to purchase such land. If there are no options for such purchase, does this not amount to wrongful restraint on an Indian? Please clarify.
