Property with two address

Hello Members

If a property has an ingress and egress with two different addresses, should it be assessed for both. The property of my client has two address, that it has entrance which falls in one street and the exit falls on the other street.

In such a case, is it justified on the part of the corporation to assess for both the streets ?. Is there any citation or statutory provision in the CCMC Act that a property should not be assessed for two addresses ?. The property is in Chennai.

thanx.

You may get the information clarified from the Corporation authorities or through their web sites.
