Property right in father or mother's property

Hi

Request Can an expert here throw some light on the following::

1. Can the daughter exercise her right in the property owned by father or mother?

2. Can father or mother disown the daught by not giving a share in the property?

3. Can father or mother write a WILL for any other apart from their own sons or daughters?

Please help with right inputs.

Thanks

It is believed that Father and Mother is Hindu, alive and the property in question is Self Acquired for both Father and Mother.

IN such case:

  1. NO.
  2. NO need, as daughter or son have no forced share in Self Acquired property of father and mother.
  3. Yes.

However the daughter and son shall have a share in ancestral property.

This is based on limited information from your post.

It shall be appropriate to show all property related documents to an able lawyer specializing in family/property/revenue/civil matters and provide inputs in person and understand the merits/options.
