Dear Sir,
I am buying a property in Uttam Nagar Delhi & getting it registered at Registrar office at Janakpuri.
But by mistake Property address Plot No. "50-D" got written on stamp paper but it should be "50-E".
All the matters (after the stamp page) inside the document got changed according to the correct Plot No. i.e. "50-E".
Now the lawyer suggests he will get some correction stamp issued from the bank & it will supercede the previous wrong address stamp.
Is it the correct way to do the address correction on the Stamp Duty Paid Paper?
Registry is not yet done but only Papers are drafted.
Kindly advise on the same earliest as I have to get the registry done on tomorrow i.e. 22nd Jan, 2015.
Thanks & regards,
Sandeep Kumar
