Procedure to to appear before court in 138 n.i. act and get bail

hello dear experts please let me know the procedure after getting summons from court in 138 negotiable instrument act. 1 how to appear on first day with bail or what?

Go on the said date.... And pray to honourable court to give a date so that you can appoint an advocate

No bail is required. You can appear in person before court or you can appoint advocate on first appearance . Manoj Advocate 8686159292

Mr. Shelke, bail is not needed if you show up on summons. But be prepared with your defense as the judge can ask for it u/s 251 crpc on the same day or fix up a date for the same. Advocate Ritu 9599650155

What was the amount of the cheque? Keep some cash with you or take a suitable person as surety. You can be required to take bail even on the first appearance.
