Flat Association   17 January 2019

President of association

Hi,

I have purchased a flat which has 400 units in which association is formed last year. Later it is found that person who is selected has no property in his name (property belongs to his son). Unfortuntely he is president of the assocication who takes monopoly decisions.

I understand he cannot even become member of association. In this case whether he being President of association is valid legally?

Please advise

Thank you

First read the bye laws on acquiring such membership, qualifications for a president and if you find any violations, make a complaint to Sub registrar of societies requesting him to interfere and for removal of President and to declare all his unilateral actions as not lawful.
