Politician with law degree

Dear Experts,

Please give your opinion whether on whether a politician with law degree can practice law. eg: Whether an MLA with law degree can still be a practicing advocate and appear in court?

MP/MLA are not required to shut their profession (unless some Govt servant intends to contest as he has to resign first but he is allowed alternative profession even if elected)
