My mother is supposed to leave from India tomorrow for a week. She recently got her passport renewed. We received a letter stating that she needs to "re-initiate the police enquiry". The letter also said that "if no response is received from you within 15 calendar days then appropriate action like impounding of passport will be initiated". My question is if she'll have any problems with immigration tomorrow. She should be back before the 15 day deadline expires. A quick response will be appreciated.
