My Uncle using a general POA of my father signed an agreement for sale of property in 2007 for 10 lacs (only agreement for sale, no sale was done) my father cancelled the Poa in June 2010 as my uncle was not truthful with the dealings. The person who gave the money to my uncle has not contacted us till date. My uncle has been paying interest to him (we are guessing) and few properties mentioned in the sale agreement have now been sold to another person as well. What is the status of the sale agreement, is my father liable as it is almost 5 yrs and the seller has not contacted my father. Advise require. thank you.
