Pls clarify

I have heard that police cannot arrest any person/accused in the court room. Even if there is a warrant against him? is it true and why??

I don't think there is any provision . However there is one provision of law which states that a person while attending court, on his way to court as well as while coming back from court cannot be subjected to civil arrest in lieu of execution of a decree Augustine Chatterjee Advocate & Solicitor at Law 9999931153

Apparently; apprehension of arrest due to tactics of OP's.

What is the opinion of your own counsel that is well versed with the matter and record?

Have you also ever examined the case file?

As per mu knowledge police can arrest thats why if someone wants to surrender before court his/her lawyer first have to inform court and ask the court to order police not to arrest while entering in court complex.
