any body please suggest the guidance to change the patta. mu grand father bought a 20 cent land of total 40 cents in survey number 33/9 in 1961,that survey number was in the joint patta with srinivasan and munuswamy. grandfather bought from srinivasan. and he unaware to subdivide it. he left as it is. we having registered document from srinivasan with us and also EC from 1961 to till now and A register of land till 1988, EC mentioning sale deed from srinivasan to us and in A register showing as joint patta with srinivasan and munuswamy till 1988. while checking now patta has been changed to munuswamy's son in total 40 cent, may be in UDR . neigbours saying that he can able to sell the property wholly with the patta, and we cant claim it. kindly suggest me the procedure to taken to change the patta into my grand father name.
