Permission for building farmhouse in village in maharashtra

Dear Team,

Need help in understading the rules pertaining to bulding a farmhouse in a farm in a village in Maharashtra. I am bulding the farmhouse to keep farm equipments, fertilizers and to stay when I go there to work.

The gram panchayat people say I need to get Architect approved plan, it will go to town planning etc.,

I want to understand the law.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Please approach the Panchyat Officials of the village where you propose to build this farm house.

I am sure in Maharashtra conversion of agriculture land into residential area needs specific permission from competent authority. Therefore, although you are claiming that you are proposing to construct a farm house to store agriculture implements, you have to convince the authority concerned and obtain permission.
