My mother in law is transferring her share of 50% right in a thane property to her son by making a gift deed. My question here is whether LBT will be payable for the Gift Deed in addition to the registration fees since I know that the stamp duty is waived off in Maharashtra.
I would like to have the documentation or rule where it is mentioned that LBT is payable in this situation and how much, if any.
