Passport show cause notce

Hello Sir/Madam,

My permanent address is in Andhra Pradesh.

I am a student at IIT Madras. As part of my MS program, I am doing my internship in Texas instruments, Bangalore. I am staying in bangalore from June 2012. I do not have any proper address proofs in Bangalore. And I have vacated my hostel room in my college as well. I do not have any proper present address proofs.
I applied for passport mentioning I am unemployed and present address and permanent address as in Andhra Pradesh. At the time of police verification, I was at my home address in AP. And I told the police officer that I am a student and living in Bangalore.
One month after police verification, in the passport website it is showing "Adverse PVR SCN Possible Refusal notification has been dispatched on 12/06/2014".  I can not get any present address proofs in bangalore. Also I might be going to Madras to give my final presentation. I am searching for jobs as well. I do not know how many days I will be staying in Madras.

I dont have proper present address proofs and I want to cancel my passport application, as I am not sure where I will be. Please suggest me whether I have an option to cancel my passport application?

Thanks,

Pradeep.

There is a service from postal department for address proofs. Please consult at your local post office head. He gives guidelines for passport purpose address proof to the people like you

Thank you Sir.

I am looking for a way to cancel this passport application. Is there any way?
It is okay even if it gets rejected.

I do not know where will I be after 3 months from now. I want to apply for it later.
Please help me.

Thanks,
Pradeep.
