Passport problem

My name is avinash singh. I am a civil engineer. I want to apply for the passport but I have lost my all educational certificate in a accident. I dont have any educational certificate but my wife has all the education certificate. Can i apply for passport on my wife's certificate behalf or any other way pls tell me any other way to apply passport..

I am sure you have your birth certificate certainly this will be needed. With regards to educational qualifications that you have lost I suggest that the company that you work for may have your educational qualifications either photo copied or scanned copies. You will also need your marriage certificate along with photographs in case if it has not been registered. It should be a simple process to get a passport provided you can prove your identity.
