Partition suit on lease land in bandra

Honourable Sir's/Madam,

We have an ancestral property in Bandra East, Mumbai, leased by the collector of mumba and the lease agreement is in the name of my grandfather. My father passed away long back, Please guide can be a partition suit be filled on lease land on behalf of my mother, We belong to hindu community.

Sir,

Suit can be filed and the property be partioned, but evicting the tenants is all togather a seprate issue and will have to be dealt otherwise from the suit of partition.

If land is alloted by Collector of Mumbai then you have to take benefit of latest amendment introduced in Maharashtra Land Revenue Code 1966. Do revert back if still the matter is pending .
