Partition of property

Hello

We have a property in the city and the property was a self made property of my grandfather. My grandfather is no more and has 2 sons and 2 daughters. Both the daughters were born before 1956. If we make the partition of the property(since there is no will left behind by my grandfather) will the property need to be divided into 4 divisions? Will my father's sisters be eligible for a share in the property since they were born before 1956. The sisters are wanting the property to be divided with eagerness. Kindly let me know what kind of law will be applicable here. Any inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks

If your grand father has died without making any arrangements of his property all legal heirs will be entittled for equal share.    After the deth of the grand father immediately succession opens.
