Partial partition when permissible

Dear learned seniors,

Is suit for partial partition is maintainable? in the following circumstances ? for Example:- Suit properties as common extent purchased by father in S.F. No. 50. Afterwards, resurvey been conducted and allotted with new survey nos like 8/1 to 8/20. Revenue Records for 8/1 to 8/20 are stands in the name of total strangers to the joint family and the name of the father not found in such record. In this situation, it is impossible to find out all the names of the strangers and add them as parties. As a daughter claiming partition and she was not in possession, she could not find any details. But some of the properties stands in the name of his father. In this circumstances, is it possible to left the properties in S.F. No. 50 (8/1 to 8/20) and to file a partition suit as partial partition for remaining properties
