Part-time training along with full-time job

Your Query: I work for  AIX System Admin. I got a opportunity to do two hours teaching out of my office hours, wherein i can get some money to support for my family. I will do the training sessions out of my office hours, without conflicting my present full-time work.

I want to know whether i am allowed to do so or its illegal in India.

REPLY: There is nothing illegal about it, if the Service Contract between you and Your Employer does not bar it.

Thank you so much sir.. This info. will really help me.. I didnot find any rule in my offer letter stating I cannot do part-time job or any kind of teaching, but still I will read the offer letter once again..

I endorse the views expressed by Mr. RAJGOPALAN. If there is no any such condition in ur appointment letter , there is no harm if U do part time job after office hours.
