The Hindu Marriage Act makes cousin marriage illegal for Hindus with the exception of marriages permitted by regional custom. However, for some communities in South India, it is common for Hindu cross cousins to marry, with matrilateral cross-cousin (mother's brother's daughter) marriages being especially favored.
Hope it helps.

Usually it voidable marriage. If your family custom permits or not, consult with your family elders.

If your family/society custom permits, it is o.k. Otherwise, as a solution, both can convert into christianity before marriage and get your marriage registered as per christinaity.
