We are landlord and have building with pagdi system tenants. one particula room was on paddi in name of the elder lady who was widow . She died few years back. She has a son who is continuing to stay. We told son that We have been issuing rent receipt still in his mother's name for last few years. But we now want to stop it and want to give rent recipts in son name, but we are asking him to produce a succession certificate, which he is not co-operating. He is saying I will manage with builder whenever building will go for redevelopment. On asking him to vacate he is not doing so.
What should we do? Can we evict him?
