My father stays in a Pagdi system building on the second floor. The common drainage pipe connected to our bathroom is leaking from outside our room as a result of which the sewage water is falling on the ground floor. The ground floor resident is asking my father to get it repaired. Is he right?

You have to get the leak closed so that others should not be suffered due to your fault.
