"A" is a society regd. In the year 2011. The aim of the society iis for the devlopment of members business an dto collect money an d to spend fot charity, education and medical issues. As per rule 10 of A 's association can amend our bye laws with the approval of 2/3rds members present. Rle 17 says relates to properties of the association and as per this rule the general body has no right to alienate the properties of the association.
In the caseof unavoidable situation if the property if the association has to sell the property, the association has to spend the sale proceeds towards the purchase of properties which are useful to the members.
To amend this rule 17 all the members have to give their approval.
The main query is 2/3rds of the association members wanted to distributr the association property free of cost by amending rule 17. Wether the societities act permits the above proposal of 2/3rds members.
