Objectionable/ vulgar sms

Respected experts, My ex wife has started sending me vulgar and objectionable sms. Initially I thought of informing the police but the police does not take any action. What can I do ? Can I send her a legal notice through a lawyer warning her to stop? Or what can be done legally kindly advise. Regards.

Indeed, a legal notice can be sent to her about this. You can even file a complaint with the Police or a Magistrate, if she further ignores the said notice and continues the same.

Save/email the chats and keep these safely.

O block the numbers and keep the record of one/more numbers being blocked.
