I have spoken to many lawyers and visited websites on my situation everyone are giving varied and contradictory advises. I request you to kindly help me with your valuable inputs on my case.
My wife filed for a divorce on grounds of desertion. My inlaws are threatening and messaging me if i dont agree for MCD, they will file cases on my parents in India.I am living abroad and pursuing my studies.I Cant go back due to immigration issues (soon I will apply for PR).
my questions are:
SInce the reconciliation is between parties, Do I have to come to India for the proceedings. It is will be expensive for me to come and go (1 lac for every trip).Is there any way like video conferencing for hyderabad courts.
Secondly, If I come there they are planning to file 498A, DVC etc. I am fearing of cancellation of my passport if they do anything after I come there.
I would be grateful for your valuable inputs and advice.
