No work on Solar Eclips Day in Court!!

Even Lawyers also in many courts in HUBLI DHARWAD IN kARNATAKA,  did'nt report , and among those reported  PRAYED FOR TIME,and got adjournment. on the said day of the solor eclipse.Although there are no any scientific reasons, but the said belief comes from ages,WHICH CANNOT BE ERRASED FROM THE MINDES ALL OF A SUDDEN, It will take some time.

This is not supersition. This is part of our/Indian culture.  First of all they are human being then they are judges. We must have faith in our culture and belief. In every eclipse there used to be holiday. But this time I donot why holiday was not declared.

Nothing will not happen if one works during eclipse time. Being an Indian Irrespective of religions one has to respect Indian tradition but not to criticise others faith.

 There was no sitting in the High court of Karnataka on that day, but the lower courts had to work, and they worked, dont you think its a discrimination?

No. There is no discrimination. Those who belive in what tradition says during solar eclipse they don't work. Those who don't belive (so called superstitions) they work. That their personal choice. One cann't force him to belive the traditional values.

Faith and religion should not hamper the work of public. Think about the people who would have returned due to no work on the very day. Think the situation if the same is followed by doctors and there is emergency case?. Ask them who have such faith, that, on eclips there would be no work and also no pay. People having wild faith also will, show their resentment. In our country people are  in search of such excuse, not to work.

I don't believe this. Sitting judges of Karnataka HIgh Court not sitting due to eclipse? Jarkhand ? Hubli?? Is the Honourable Supreme Court aware about this?
