No executor in a will

Hello, In a Will there is no executor mentioned and is not registered. There are two witnesses. Can this Will still be PROBATED in Court? if yes then who will be the Pititioner?

Many Thanks,

Laxmin.

Registration of will is optional and not compulsory.Unregistered will is as valid as registered subject to the same fulfils the requirement of law.Unregistered will can be very well probated.Beneficiary of will can initiate proceedings of probate.

Many thanks Goyal sir. I will be glad if you can list out things when you say "subject to the same fulfills the requirement of law."? Best regards, Laxmin
