No cross then why argument??

divorce filed 1yr back in district court same jurisdiction
notices served by hand few months back , wife appeared on 1st date....
1. wife did not appear later, NO SAY , NO CROSS ORDER PASSED AGAINST WIFE,
2. PURSHIS for evidence closure submitted by me and next date given for ARGUMENTS.....
3. Quest is.......
                           a..is it heading for ex-partee????
                           b. can divorce still be denied in arguments??????
4. rcr filed by wife with 125crpc in family court same jurisdiction
                                     stage: awaiting judgement in rcr and next date for 125crpc as allegations in both denied by me and i told ready for co habitation in an old village hometown where i stay now since desertion, but wife refusing..............
5. in DIVORCE will my acceptance for co habitation in rcr affidavit be a proof for denial of divorce????
6. both dont want to stay  together but tug of war for lump sum which i dont want to give but ready for monthly maintenance....
need advice experts.. please help...

ur case is already proceeding expartee. argument stage is inevitable in all cases.


                           b. can divorce still be denied in arguments??????

application allowed / dismissed depending upon the merits at the time of judgement & passing decree, not at argument stage.
