No.(1) Regarding Privacy

Can a media reporter click photos in a private area of a person without his/her permission ? Example- A media reporter clicks photos of a petrol pump to defame it and there is a conflict between media reporter and owner of the pump regarding this..how can we deal with it ? is there any offence ?
