We have an old house in Kol which we put on rent in 2006. We want that back from tenant however they are not vacating and asking for money rather to leave the place. Whenever we decide to finalize they get into agitation mode & try to show us the law that we cannot remove them. Thanks to “Dada culture in WB old Areas” we are not getting any support & my inlaws who are Sr. Citizen has to stay on rent in other place. They are really facing tough time. They had to stay away from home just because of dadagiri of tenant.
My question is shall we keep any hope. WB tenancy is just supporting tenets? We stopped taking rent since 6 months. What else shall we do now. We need position of the place. Can anyone literally do to resolve this? WE have already spent 11 years now. Filing case is again big expense but is there any surety. We are totally broke, seem to be losing trust on lawyers. Straight forward answer would be appreciated.
