I had been selected as Govt. Lecturer through Punjab Public Service commission. I added surname to my passport and has been using in subsequent documents. I also used my surname for the job application too. However I had not went for any official gazette notification as was not required for passport case. No body has asked or raise any issues regarding absence of surname in older documents like 10th, 12th etc. during interview for the post. But I am now bit concerned as my documents are going to be again verified by respective board. Issue is having surname as per job orders but not in certificates. Kindly tell me the solution if there is any case of me to encounter an issue.
