I want to apply name correction/change in my son's Birth certificate. He was born in Tuticorin on August 2014. As I got H1 Visa & due to office pressure I dont have time to apply name change immediately. As I travelled with family I applied passport with that mistaken name & got the passport.
Now I came back to India. Can some one guide me on
1) What is the process for modify birth certificate?
Modifcations are : Spelling Mistake in Name, Address & City
2) Once it is corrected do I need to apply for new passport or renew with updated name change ?
