Name Change

I am a hindu girl.My fiance would be travelling to Dubai this month on job purpose. He will be changing his religion due to job facilities there. Now as I shall be changing my religion here in India, do I need to make an affidavit? Do I need to change the same in my school-college docs and passport as well?Can we get married after transforming into Islam & then make the affidavits and all?
