Mumbai Stamp Duty 1% Surcharge was proposed (or passed?) a couple of days back.
Is this surcharge in effect immediately or is there a furure date when it will go into effect? If future date any idea from when?

Probably the bill is yet to be passed by council and recieve assent by Governor.
