Iam NRI and i used to transfer Money to My brother's account for my father and mother, as he was only brother in india with my parents.His Bank account nominee is my Mothers name.
He passed away and he was having wife without children and she is married after one year.
But actually 80% of the money in his account is sent by me and i am having bank statement as a proof to show it is being transfered from NRI.
Pls check as per law who will be Eligible for the money in his account.

Well Renuka is right in one sense but looking from another angle the nominee is still your mother at Bank and the lady is now longer related to your family so simply and quietly approach the bank and request for trfr to your mother name with the death certificate of your brother. Alternatively you can file a petition in court praying the court to direct the bank to do so
