Mothers right to dead sons property or share ?

My brother died leaving behind a large amount of property.

He did make a will where the entire property goes to his children who dont live in India

My mother lives in the house built by both of them and paid for by both of them BUT the house is on my brothers name.

The electricity bill of the house comes on my mothers name

Besides the right to live in the house till her death does she have a claim on the house ?

Could she transfer the owners name on the house as my brother is dead ? She could have it on her name which she wants as their are other assests /monies for the children

My brother was divorced so ex wife has nothing to claim and she is a foreigner anyway.

Any thoughts would be appreciated !

Since the deceased was owner of the estate and has left a WILL the beneficiary in the WILL shall enjoy the estate.

The local lawyer after examination of all docs on record pertaining to expense incurred on construction of building on the land may opine that some right to enjoy upto that extent can be possible.
