Mistake in schedule details for a bda plot

Hi,

We had bought a 30 ft x 40 ft BDA(Bangalore Development Authority) north facing plot directly from the allotee in 2008. Now recently came to know that in the schedule section of Sale deed document, the details like where its explained which plot numbers come to south, west and east. Here we have noticed that the plot numbers to the south have to be 864,865 instead its printed as 866,867. Till now we have paid the taxes also regularly and are up to date. Decided to construct house and got the plan also approved by BBMP. After that only we have noticed that there is a schedule mistake on plot numbers. Can this schedule plot details be corrected? Since its already 6-7 yrs as of now we don't have any contact with the seller and don't have their contact details also. So can this detail be corrected without the seller? If its not corrected will it cause any major problems in future? Please suggest the best option.

Wrongly mentioned check boundaries may create problem at the time of selling or availing the bank loan etc.  Better contact the seller and get a rectification deed executed at the earliest possible.
