An Insurance company has made it mandatory for its employees persuing higher studies to complete the degree within actual course duration . It is refusing to recognise the completed degree if the same has been completed after the after duration of the course.
Can this be legally challanged ?

Is the degree recognised by the respective Univ?
Is the company in any sense sponsoring the programme? If yes how?
Was it stated ever in writing beforehand that the degree is to be completed in say actual course duration?
Actual course duration might have different interpretation in different conotations?
