wife is very cruel towards husband. three FIRs have already been lodged against his wife u/s 323,506 which are under trial. wife is not allowing her husband to stay with her, she is staying in town in the house brought in the name of her father. therefore he is forced to stay at his village. Now wife has filed maintenace u/s 125 crpc against her husband.husband is getting central governme pension. Pl guide how to defend the maintence case.

The award of maintainance is based on questions of facts. No meaningful suggestion is possible. Of course has the option to seek divorce based on marital cruelty.
