Long leave after probation

Hi all,

I work as a SWO in State Bank of Mysore. I have completed my probation in January,2014. I want to take long leave of 6 months to prepare for other exams because I want to step-up from being a clerk. I'm not really interested in Banking & I also dont have the guts to quit this job before I get another one. Can i take leave without pay on medical grounds. I want to try other exams before I cross the age limit. Please let me know the risks involved.

Thanks in advance.

Various kinds of leave that you can avail should be available in leave policy of the bank.

It should also be available on the Bank’s, Bank employee’s union website too.

Get in touch with Bank employee’s union leaders and they can guide you on eligibility.

The union leaders are seasoned and well informed.

Employee should maintain touch with them.
