Hello Sir/Madam,
Me and my wife are planning to adopt a 4 year baby girl from my wife'e relative, who are not well to do. I have already read in your forum and these are the steps that I could make out to be taken to complete the process:
1. Prepare Adoption deed
2. Adoption Deed registration at registrar office
3. File for the court order at the SDM (Magistrate office) of your area
4. Court will pass an order validating adoption
So, my question to you dignitaries are:
A. Are the steps mentioned above complete or you find anything missing to complete legal process to adopt the family child.
B. What are the list of documents I would need from both Adoptive and Natural Parents, for legal formalities. I live in Bangalore and Child and her parents are in Rajasthan. So I want to ensure we have all the documents in place, before we go there to start the process.
C. Any other things you feel I should Know.
