Legal metrology query

Dear all,

Can anybody put some light on the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 (LM Rules) on the following query:

The rules prescribe certain mandatory declarations on the packs.

However, Rule 26 of LM Rules, 2011 says that -

"Nothing contained in these rules shall apply to any package containing a commodity if—

(a)  the net weight or measure of the commodity is ten gram or ten milli litre or less, if sold by weight or measure;…"

Does this also apply to mandatory declarations on packs of 10ml/gm or less? Because when such small products are sold individually, there is hardly any space left on the packs to cover all the mandatory declarations, especially the address of the manufacturer and packer.

Pls guide.

Regards,
