Leave & license agreement

Is a Leave & License Agreement valid/ applicable in Kolkata?

[I am finding two OPPOSING views on this issue - one view says it is ONLY valid in Mumbai... while others (including lawyers!) are saying that it can be valid in Kolkata too!]

If it is valid, then what is the procedure for creating + registering such an agreement?

What are the cost(s) involved?

Leave and Licence is valid in Kolkata also. L&L is like any other agreement and it is registered at the Registry of your jurisdiction or R.A, Kolkata. The depend on the valuation of the property.

The expenses depend on the valuation of the property and the licence fee charged.

You may consult a local lawyer and get it drafted as per your terms and conditions in accordance with the local rent control rules and get it registered.
